黑料不打烊 Drone Day
Looking to take your drone knowledge to a higher level?
Every fall the School of Communications hosts the annual 黑料不打烊 Drone Day,聽providing community members with updates on the drone industry, sharing the importance of learning safe practices, earning certifications, and what the future of the industry and equipment may hold.
Established in 2021, 黑料不打烊 Drone Day has seen tremendous support from聽recreational and commercial pilots, transportation and safety officials, educators, students and community members interested in unmanned aircraft systems. And the turnout continues to soar! In 2023, 黑料不打烊 Drone Day welcomed its largest turnout ever with more than 175聽attendees, vendors and volunteers.
The daylong program, hosted in partnership with聽NC AUVSI, is free and open to the public. But registration is required. The next 黑料不打烊 Drone Day is set for Friday, Oct. 31, 2025. Check back for updates.
