Inclusive Lens Workshops
OIEED provides workshops that can be tailored specifically for the needs of departments and divisions to develop and integrate practices related to inclusive excellence.

Inclusive Community Conversation
Inclusive Community Conversation is a dialogue series designed for faculty and staff to engage in meaningful discussions on topics related to inclusive excellence, belonging, and identity. Using the , participants will engage in small-group conversations that encourage deep reflection and a greater understanding of diverse perspectives.
Throughout each session, participants will move between groups, contributing their insights and building on the ideas of others. The session will conclude with a collective harvest of key themes and follow-up resources to support continued reflection and action beyond the dialogue.
After the event, in collaboration with Belk Library, participants will be introduced to additional resources to further their reflection and understanding about the topic.

A collaboration between the Center for Race, Ethnicity, & Diversity Education (CREDE), Office of Inclusive Excellence Education and Development (OIEED), and the Office of Leadership and Professional Development (OLPD) providing faculty and staff a personal and professional development opportunity to discuss contemporary issues regarding race/racism through workshops and dialogue over the summer months.
Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIB) Suite and Community of Practice sessions (CoP)
Professional development modules for all ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ faculty and staff to explore concepts and strategies that build the necessary skills to actively contribute to an Inclusive Excellence work and learning culture. This is offered in collaboration with the Office of Human Resources.

DIB Debriefs are facilitated conversations for deeper exploration of content and opportunity to create developmental action items based on the exposure and learning from these modules in the DIB Suite.

Bias Education (BE) workshops
BE Aware, BE Accountable and BE Advocates: BE workshops aim to proactively reduce identity-based bias and bias-related incidents. Participants in these workshops learn to identify bias, how to utilize ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s bias response system and strategies to integrate anti-bias advocacy skills into thinking and practice. The Intercultural Development and Education to Action (IDEA) Institute
A year-long program enabling faculty and staff to deepenÌýintercultural learning and development to expand criticalÌýconsciousnessÌýin their current work. Participants will complete the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI©), create a personalized development plan, and engage in development sessions and experiential learning activities to advance their intercultural learning, competencies and practices.
Participants will receive an IDEA Institute Completion Certificate upon completing all Institute requirements.
