Bias Education (BE) at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ

As part of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s bias response system, the Office of Inclusive Excellence, Education and Development (OIEED) offers educational opportunities that aim to proactively reduce identity-based bias and bias-related incidents. The OIEED offers a series of Bias Education (BE) workshops under the following themes: BE Aware, BE Accountable and BE Advocates.

BE workshops are regularly offered to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community members, and departments and groups can request BE workshops by using the Division of Inclusive Excellence request for services form.

For workshops, please submit your request at least three weeks before your desired workshop date to allow our team adequate time to accommodate your request.  If applicable, select the “consultation” option to develop ideas and best approaches to address desired goals before selecting the “workshop” option.
