The fourth annual event, held at ���ϲ�����’s School of Communications, will explore the theme of “Sport Sponsorship and Branding in the Digital Age,” and features two panel discussions delving into technology and social media use, as well as how college athletes are leveraging their name, image, and likeness (NIL) rights.

���ϲ����� alumnus Erik Kendall ’11 and Assistant Professor Max Negin received a regional Emmy Award last year for their work with the Charlotte Hornets – and have already garnered another Emmy nomination this winter.

Among the award recipients were Claire Latimer ’22, who was presented with the Major of the Year Award, and Brynja Burton ’25, who earned the Rising Phoenix Award.

The executive director of the NFL Players Association served as the keynote speaker for the 2022 ���ϲ����� Sport Management Symposium, which delved into the “Changing Dynamics in Sports Media.”
