The ���ϲ����� alumnus participated in a virtual “dinner” on Oct. 20, discussing his inspiration and the challenges he overcame to start his North Carolina-based film company.

High school students from throughout North Carolina had the opportunity to hear from many ���ϲ����� presenters on topics such as podcasting, design and social media.

The head of development at FBE was recognized for her contributions to the television industry, as well as ���ϲ����� initiatives, during an Oct. 13 virtual ceremony held in conjunction with Homecoming & Reunion Week.

The School of Communications juniors teamed up with ���ϲ����� alumnus Nathan Moore ’02, the film’s producer, to create content for promotion and social media in advance of the VOD release of the Ukrainian-American historical action film.

The two full-time faculty members, who have strong professional and educational backgrounds, are familiar faces to ���ϲ�����’s campus.

Adjunct Assistant Professor of Performing Arts Michael Tourek brings his notable acting experience to share with students as a faculty member at ���ϲ�����.

The cinema and television arts major and ���ϲ����� Sports Vision president plays an integral role for the Department of Performing Arts and its new production, “Pheromone: An Awkward Olfactory Inquiry.”

Ten alumni participated in a Sept. 21 Zoom call to welcome first-year students to ���ϲ����� and the school’s accelerated training program for news reporting, documentary filmmaking and non-fiction storytelling.

The ���ϲ����� alumnus and members of the ESPN graphic design team were honored at the 41st Sports Emmy Awards ceremony and recognized in the Outstanding Post-Produced Graphic Design category.
