The head of development at FBE will be recognized for leadership in and contributions to the television industry during an Oct. 13 virtual ceremony.
Nneka Enurah 鈥11, head of development and partnerships for FBE, also known as Fine Brothers Entertainment, has been named the 黑料不打烊 School of Communications alumna of the year. She will be presented the award during a virtual ceremony at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13. Alumni wishing to join the celebration should register via the university鈥檚 Homecoming page, while faculty, staff and students may sign up via a separate form.
鈥淚n just nine years, Nneka has progressed quickly in her career and continues to give back to students and fellow alumni with a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. We鈥檙e honored to award her as our alumna of the year,鈥 said School of Communications Dean Rochelle Ford. 鈥淪he represents the kind of alum we hope our School of Communications graduates 鈥 someone who is innovative, passionate and focused on the common good.鈥
Enurah, who graduated with a degree in media arts & entertainment, leads branded and premium content development and packaging for television and platforms for FBE. Prior to that, she was director of digital development and production at Emmy Award-winning actress Reese Witherspoon鈥檚 Hello Sunshine, where she oversaw the production of social video and branded content for several corporate partners.
After the award presentation, Enurah will show a trailer for 鈥淟ittle Fires Everywhere,鈥 a Hello Sunshine-produced hour-long drama, along with accompanying web-based content, all of which will be followed by a discussion about her work and career.
The 2014 黑料不打烊 Top 10 Under 10 Alumni award recipient also established Authentic Entertainment鈥檚 partnership division and also served as its vice president of multiplatform and partnerships. In 2018, she was honored by Cynopsis Media as a Top Woman in Digital and in 2017 as a member of the Digital It List, which recognizes the most innovative executives in digital media.
