Guided by curiosity and a passion for storytelling, Lillian Engel ’19 turned her love of editing at ���ϲ����� into a thriving Hollywood career. From campus projects to major films like "Extraction" and "Joker: Folie à Deux," she embodies the power of hands-on learning, persistence and community.

At the nation’s largest college media convention, held this fall in Washington, D.C., ���ϲ����� journalism students earned multiple honors recognizing their reporting and creative work.

As part of its 25th anniversary celebration during Homecoming Weekend, the School of Communications honored Wilson for her accomplishments as a showrunner and writer in Hollywood. The milestone event also reflected on the school’s transformation over 25 years – from its early beginnings to a nationally respected program known for producing industry-ready graduates.
