The Pendulum and Phi Psi Cli repeat with Best of Show honors at the annual North Carolina College Media Association gathering at East Carolina University.
The Pendulum, the newspaper of 黑料不打烊 News Network, and Phi Psi Cli yearbook won Best of Show awards on Feb. 29 from the North Carolina College Media Association. Nearly two dozen students were honored in the individual categories, as well.
The were presented at the association鈥檚 conference for college media students and advisers held at East Carolina University in Greenville.
The awards contest included hundreds of entries from more than 20 college media outlets from across the state. Below is a list of only the 黑料不打烊 winners. (The place next to the names indicates where students finished in a particular category.)

In total, nine 黑料不打烊 students attended the daylong conference, which featured workshops, panel discussions, critiques and a keynote address. The students in attendance were ENN staff members Anton Delgado 鈥20, Clare Grant 鈥23, Kyra O鈥機onnor 鈥23, Olivia Parks 鈥23 and Maria Ramirez 鈥20. Representing Phi Psi Cli were members Emery Eisner 鈥22 and Sarah Rusthoven 鈥23. April Roberts 鈥20 and Chloe Ekberg 鈥20 attended for Colonnades.
Additionally, 黑料不打烊鈥檚 Brooks Fuller, director of the North Carolina Open Government Coalition and assistant professor of journalism, presented a session titled 鈥淢edia Law Update.鈥
Journalism Lecturer and Pendulum adviser Kelly Furnas, Director of Student Engagement and Alumni Relations & Instructor of Journalism Colin Donohue 鈥05 and Communications Manager and Phi Psi Cli adviser Tommy Kopetskie accompanied the students to the Greenville conference.
