Journalism major Charlotte Pfabe '27 is set to lead ���ϲ����� News Network as the executive director, bringing focus on community service and bridging the gap between student journalists and the public.

The 7 p.m. screening in Turner Theatre marks a milestone production for ���ϲ����� Student Television and showcases a student-led feature film years in the making.

The student-run news organization earned national recognition at the Associated Collegiate Press National College Media Conference in San Francisco. The honors highlight the strength of ���ϲ�����’s student journalism across print, broadcast, digital and design categories.

Karsyn Vann ’28, a journalism and Spanish double major at ���ϲ�����, has balanced deadlines for ���ϲ����� News Network with her dedication to the clarinet as she prepares to perform with the ensemble this month at Carnegie Hall.

Student media staff members from around North Carolina attended professional development sessions, many of which were led by ���ϲ����� faculty and staff.

Presented by the school’s Inclusive Excellence Committee, the interactive event will bring together students, faculty and staff to explore research, teaching and practice that advance equity and representation across the communications and sport industries.

Bryan Baker and Alex Luchsinger received national recognition for creative projects spanning social media, promotional video and documentary film.

The ���ϲ����� graduate has been recognized nationally for her deeply reported multimedia feature, “The Autistic Experience at ���ϲ�����,” which centers the voices of autistic and neurodiverse students.

Ten students from the private school in Guilford County spent a week at ���ϲ�����’s School of Communications, gaining hands-on experience with reporting, storytelling and ethical decision-making inside a working newsroom.

Through a 2025 Pulitzer Center Reporting Fellowship, the ���ϲ����� junior traveled to Costa Rica to investigate illegal hammerhead shark fishing and the enforcement gaps threatening the endangered species.
