Simulation Modalities, Equipment, & Spaces

The Interprofessional Simulation Center is comprised of five simulation modalities including Client-to-Class, Simulators, Simulated Participants, and Task Trainers. Modalities are selected based upon their ability to meet the level of fidelity required by learning objectives.聽The IPSC contains a variety of simulation equipment that enhance the learners experience allowing for repetitive training that increases psychomotor skills in a safe learning environment. Each space provides opportunity to immerse learners in a realistic clinical environment.聽The Simulation team upholds standards of best practice ensuring all learner activities聽 that utilize the various modalities and equipment allow for learners to progress from novice to clinical-readiness.
