The university hosted a press conference at Schar Center on Friday, July 21, to introduce Jennifer Strawley to the community as the institution’s 20th director of athletics.

The move follows the addition of new members to the conference and a new vision for the CAA.

Strawley will become the 20th director of athletics at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ. She will begin her tenure at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ on Aug. 1.

Berry served ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ for 37 years in a range of roles including associate professor, registrar, dean of men, dean of students and director of academic advising.

Vice President for Student Life Jon Dooley sent the following message to the university community on Friday, July 7.

Strawley comes to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ from the University of Miami, where she has served as the senior deputy director of athletics. She will begin her tenure at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ on Aug. 1.

This year's class of inductees includes representatives from athletic training, women's basketball, baseball, softball, men's soccer, men's basketball and men's cross country.

The Magazine of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ: Spoken Stories podcast gives a voice to articles from the university’s magazine, which is published three times a year.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ has made available online customized announcements for graduating seniors and their parents to submit to hometown media outlets.
