The professorship established by the late ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ alumnus and faculty member Wayne T. Moore ’49 and his wife, Elizabeth, will support the teaching and research of an emerging scholar in the arts, humanities or social sciences. The $500,000 gift honors Wayne's late brother, Fletcher Moore '34, a longtime music faculty member at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ.

The board of trustees of the accrediting body informed President Connie Ledoux Book that the institution’s accreditation has been reaffirmed without recommendations or needed revisions.

Jack B. Hicks, a partner with the international law firm of Womble Bond Dickinson and a longtime friend of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ School of Law, will highlight a December ceremony for 140 graduates in the Class of 2023.

The university was recognized for standing out within a pool of more than 700 schools for its sustainability-related policies, practices and programs.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ has once again been recognized by the Institute of International Education for the highest percentage rate of study abroad participation in the nation.

The work will require a portion of East Haggard Avenue through ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s campus to be closed to vehicular traffic on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Nov. 15 through Dec. 6. 

During a recent trip to Japan, members of a delegation from ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ participated in a range of experiences related to global engagement and digital life. 

A dedication ceremony during Homecoming & Reunion Weekend for Brumbaugh Hall honored the decades of contributions to the university by the couple.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law alumnus Matt Krueger-Andes L’11 and sister Juli Krueger-Andes have made a gift to endow a scholarship to honor their father, David Andes ’65. The David A. Andes and Family Internship Endowment will provide financial assistance to students pursuing these life-changing experiences.
