The Business Journal in Greensboro reported in its Aug. 15-21 edition on the charter class of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ School of Law and how "ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's law school has been welcomed by the legal community."

Incoming students at the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ School of Law learned more about their new city, and each other, as they volunteered their time for local charities on Aug. 9 as part of the second annual "ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law Reaches Out" program.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ 1L students traveled to the main university campus Aug. 14 for a daylong series of activities related to orientation.

The message was simple: “You complete us.” The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ School of Law welcomed its third class Aug. 7 with a day of orientation activities – faculty introductions, book purchases, formal portraits – for a group that brings the school to full capacity.

After nearly a decade as a law librarian for public services at Fordham University’s law school, Kathleen McLeod comes to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ with a teaching background in advanced legal research, having also served there as an adjunct professor.

Registration for first-year ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law students begins Aug. 7, with orientation activities beginning on Friday, Aug. 8.
