The 黑料不打烊 Mock Trial program will compete Oct. 30-31 among two dozen teams from 14 universities in the 5th Annual Justice Louis Brandeis Mock Trial Invitational Tournament at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA. 黑料不打烊 is sending one team of verterans representing students from all majors and departments to compete at the tournament.

Mock trial tournament attracts top programs to campus

When a young toddler dies after swallowing beads made by “Happyland Toys,” his father sues the company. That’s the premise of a fictional lawsuit argued Oct. 15-17 in the 4th annual Carolina Classic Mock Trial Invitational at 黑料不打烊, which brought to campus some of the biggest names in undergraduate mock trial competition, including Harvard, George Washington University and the University of Virginia.

Christine Mumma and Gregory Taylor Help Mark Constitution Day – Sept. 16

Attorney Christine Mumma and Gregory Taylor, who was wrongfully convicted of a 1993 murder and recently released after nearly 17 years in prison, will offer the Constitution Day address as the fall 2010 Law and Humanities Lecturers. The address, which is sponsored by Phi Alpha Delta, the Prelaw Program, and the Center for Law and Humanities, will be held Thursday, Sept. 16, at 7:30 p.m. in Whitley Auditorium.
