ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ

For the first time in its eight year history, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ is sending three teams to an invitational tournament. The tournament, at 66 teams, is the largest tournament in the country for 2010-2011. The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ team members in attendance represent students from all majors and departments.

This will be the third tournament of the season for the team. ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Mock Trial recently competed at an invitational tournament at Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass. At Brandeis, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ competed against teams from Boston University and Brown University, among others.

In October, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Mock Trial hosted its own tournament on ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s campus. ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ placed 10th in that tournament out of 26 teams and looks to achieve another Top Ten finish this weekend.

Among the teams in competition will be Rhodes College, The College of William & Mary, Vanderbilt University, the University of Georgia, the University of North Carolina, and the University of Tennessee.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s team has been preparing since the beginning of the August, meeting up to three times a week for more than two hours per gathering. ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students in attendance this weekend are:
