Twenty-six students, faculty, staff and alumni representing ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s Imagining the Internet Center participated in and provided official documentation of the Internet Governance Forum-USA 2011 at Georgetown University Law Center on July 18.

Sixty-eight students representing several majors have been participating this summer in a domestic summer internship programs in both Los Angeles and New York. While in their respective cities, students take an academic course on Mondays and complete internships the rest of the week. The structures of the nine-week programs vary, but students receive the same general experience, as they live, take classes and do internships in a major American city.

All films begin on the page. Someone, typically the screenwriter, has to put pen to paper and give words and movements and motivations to characters. In the nine-week ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ in Los Angeles summer program, it’s no different.

Last year, the three faculty and 18 students who were part of the renewed ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ in New York City program considered the nine-week summer internship experience a resounding success. That's why, coming into this summer, the returning instructors decided to leave the program mostly untouched.
