The Black Law Students Association leads a series of programs from Sept. 16-20 to encourage students of color - both those already at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law and those considering law school - to find mentors, develop networks, and learn of available resources for achieving academic and professional success.

The 30-minute public affairs program recently aired on public television stations in North Carolina and South Carolina.

In a two-day masterclass series, current Broadway professional Quentin Earl Darrington worked with ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Music Theatre students in mastering the art of truth, spontaneity and individuality in acting through a song.

Hispanic Heritage Month runs from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 with events planned throughout.

The event is a collaboration between ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, the Burlington Downtown Corporation, the City of Burlington and local nonprofits and businesses. 

The annual program for first-year ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students held Sept. 12 in Alumni Gym offered the Class of 2023 insight into the four virtues that are central to the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Honor Code.

The Sept. 24 event is co-sponsored by ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's Center for Environmental Studies and the Cape Fear River Assembly.

The career event connected over 100 students with recruiters from 12 accounting firms.

The university has a variety of events and programs planned during Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15.

Ten Martha and Spencer Love School of Business students were initiated into the accounting and finance organization.
