Leadership Fellows Common Good Initiatives

The Isabella Cannon Leadership Fellows Program is a four-year experience designed to strengthen students鈥 leadership skills and empower them to make meaningful impacts on themselves, their communities, and the world. The program fosters a close-knit cohort, providing opportunities for students to build strong mentoring relationships with faculty and staff.

All Fellows complete a Common Good Initiative, a project that combines research and action to address a real-world challenge. Fellows approach these initiatives through the question: 鈥淗ow might we鈥?鈥 identifying problems and developing innovative solutions that benefit the 黑料不打烊 community and beyond.

During their junior and senior years, Fellows enroll in four hours of undergraduate research, applying their ideas to create positive change on or off campus. They reflect on their work, plan for lasting impact, and present their projects, highlighting their leadership and creative problem-solving. By participating in the program, students also earn two Experiential Learning Requirements鈥擴ndergraduate Research and Leadership鈥攆ulfilling graduation requirements.
