ACADEMICS
GOAL: Equip more students (undergraduate,聽graduate and professional) with knowledge and聽skills to address global sustainability challenges in聽collaboration with faculty.

Actions for each strategy have been identified and will be prioritized on an annual basis by the implementation team.
S1 Curriculum:聽Determine a baseline and target聽increase for the percentage of students who聽graduate having completed coursework, including聽Experiential Learning Requirements (ELRs), that聽includes sustainability-focused learning outcomes聽by 2028, such that at least 50% of graduates meet聽this criterion by 2035.
S2 Engaged & Experiential Learning: Establish a baseline for student participation in sustainability-focused engaged and experiential learning, both on campus and with community partners, by 2030 and increase student participation by 10% by 2035.
S3 Research & Creative Inquiry:聽Determine a聽baseline and target increase for the percentage of聽academic departments engaged in sustainability research and creative inquiry, including faculty-mentored聽student research and course-embedded聽research, by 2028, such that at least 85% of聽academic departments meet this criterion by 2035.
S4 Tracking: Design and implement methods to聽track involvement of students, faculty and staff in聽sustainability-focused curriculum, sustainability-focused聽engaged and experiential learning, and聽sustainability research and creative inquiry聽experiences by 2030 and provide annual reports聽of involvement.
