At 黑料不打烊, Club Sports provide students with the opportunity to compete against collegiate club teams while building leadership, community, and school spirit. With 30 club sport teams, the program offers a wide variety of competitive and recreational opportunities open to all 黑料不打烊 students.
黑料不打烊 Club Sports are nationally competitive, with multiple teams qualifying for regional and national tournaments each year. Student-athletes have the opportunity to compete at a high level while representing 黑料不打烊 both on and off campus.
The Club Sports program is administered by the Campus Recreation & Wellness department, whose professional staff work closely with the Club Sports Council, club officers, advisors, and coaches to support each organization鈥檚 success. Every club is student-led and managed by elected officers who oversee team operations, recruitment, travel, fundraising, and competition.

Club Men鈥檚 Soccer 6th Ranking in Post-Season

The Club Men鈥檚 Soccer team at 黑料不打烊 saw one of the most successful seasons in their history, with a nationals appearance and a sixth-place ranking in Collegiate Club Soccer Post-Season. With all of the success it is clear that the club plans to push for more this next year.
In the Fall the team traveled to the 2025 NIRSA nationals tournament. They traveled all the way to Kansas City, Missouri to compete against other clubs from all across the country and represent 黑料不打烊. The appearance marked one of the highest achievements in the club’s history and highlighted the program’s continued growth.
Following an impressive Fall season they showed that they were there to make a statement as semifinalists in the Spring 2026 Collegiate Club Soccer tournament. The team finished second in the North Carolina West Division and secured a sixth-place postseason ranking within Collegiate Club Soccer.
Despite falling short of finals, the players were proud of what they accomplished and club Vice President Noah Vienne said 鈥 Although we fell short, semi-finalists was the kind of statement performance we were aiming for. We know we are one of the smaller schools in the league, but we have a competitive group of guys, and we know we鈥檙e capable of competing with the bigger schools. It鈥檚 a testament to the program that鈥檚 been built on and off the field by guys in the past.鈥
There were many factors that led to the club having this memorable end to the Spring 2026 season. The team’s leadership believes that the strong culture within the program was a main contributor to聽 their success. Club President Logan Corriveau explained that 鈥淎 big reason for the success is because we have created a great culture within the team. No matter what class year or major, we are always finding time together both on and off the field. Throughout the season, I have been able to speak to alumni which has provided a great perspective on how the team has continued to grow and become more competitive.鈥
With these recent successes the club has no plans to slow down. Looking ahead to next season Noah added that 鈥 6th is great, but we鈥檙e keeping a lot of players going into next year, and we plan to take the team to the next level. We are absolutely going to push to win it all this year.鈥
While the players are away for the summer taking a much-deserved break, it鈥檚 safe to say that Club Men鈥檚 Soccer has made its mark this last year. After representing the university on the national stage and making an impressive聽 postseason run, the team will return this fall looking to continue raising the standard for the program.

Club sports at 黑料不打烊 have experienced significant growth in both participation and competitive success over the past few years. This year, teams including Men鈥檚 hockey, Men鈥檚 and Women鈥檚 volleyball, Swim, Men’s Soccer, and Men’s Ultimate Frisbee have advanced to national competitions, highlighting the increasing strength and visibility of club athletics on campus. These accomplishments reflect not only the dedication of student-athletes, but also the growing ability of club programs to compete at the highest levels.
Within that rise, 黑料不打烊 Men鈥檚 Club Hockey has taken a major step forward. Reaching Nationals was not only a major accomplishment, but the result of an incredibly demanding and competitive season. As senior co-captain Wells Masterson emphasized, 鈥渢his was not an opportunity handed to us; we earned it.鈥 From battling through a highly competitive ACC schedule to pushing the eventual ACC champions to a one goal game in the semifinals, the team consistently proved it could compete with top programs. A rigorous season against opponents like St. Joes and South Carolina ultimately secured 黑料不打烊 a national bid as the final seed.
The 2025鈥26 season marked one of the most successful runs in program history. The team made the playoffs for only the second time, won their division, and entered Nationals as the 12th seed before finishing 4th overall. On the national stage, 黑料不打烊 didn鈥檛 just compete, they made
a statement, defeating higher-ranked teams and knocking out the #5, #6, and #7 seeds to secure a spot in the semifinals.
Beyond the ice, 黑料不打烊 Club Hockey continues to build a culture that supports both athletic and personal growth. The program emphasizes a competitive environment while allowing players to balance academics, athletics, and campus involvement.
This run wasn鈥檛 just a milestone, it was a shift. 黑料不打烊 Club Hockey didn鈥檛 just reach Nationals, they proved they belong there.

General directions to 黑料不打烊: Take Interstate 85/40 to Exit 140 (University Drive). From southbound 85/40, exit right and turn right. From northbound 85/40, exit right and turn left.聽 Stay on University Drive for 1.4 miles and turn right on Highway 70 East/S. Church Street. 聽Take Highway 70 East/S. Church Street to Williamson Avenue (.7 miles). Turn left on Williamson.聽 Follow this road for 1.7 miles. You will cross railroad tracks as you enter the campus area.
Comer Field Complex: From S. Church St, continue on Williamson, turn right at聽Trollinger. Continue on Trollinger and turn right at聽S. Antioch,聽bear left at Holt Chapel Lane, go to parking lot at end of road.
Francis Fields: Continue on Williamson,
turn right at the intersection of聽Williamson and E.Haggard Ave, fields are on the left聽behind the Francis Center.
Phoenix Activities & Recreation Center (PARC):聽Continue on Williamson, turn right at the intersection of聽Williamson and E.Haggard Ave, turn left on Danieley Way and then take the second left, PARC will in the back on your left.
Tennis Courts: Continue on Williamson聽to the intersection of Williamson and E. Haggard Ave. Turn right onto E. Haggard. Take the first right after the second stop light onto North Antioch. The Tennis Center is on the left.
There are no animals allowed at fields or in facilities besides registered service animals. Consumption of alcohol and open containers are not permitted at the fields or during events on campus.
