These signature opportunities both abroad and stateside integrate global engagement into your ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ experience. At these Center programs, you’ll study alongside fellow students and a faculty member on these customized programs.

Approved External “Affiliate” Programs

Take part in a pre-approved external study abroad program, also known as an “affiliate”, that has been vetted to ensure it aligns with ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ standards for study abroad. These trusted providers allow students to transfer credit back to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ and take their financial aid overseas.

Exchange

Enroll directly in classes at one of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s overseas partner universities. These programs offer opportunities for direct cultural immersion, permitting students to make the most of their time abroad while also receiving credit from some of the best universities in the world.

Dual-Degree Programs

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s International Business Dual Degree is a unique four-year program designed for students who want a truly global education and have strong interests in living, working and studying business for two years at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ and for two years at one of our four partner schools abroad. The program offers you the opportunity to study international business in two cultures, giving you a competitive edge in the global marketplace.

Global Start

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Global Start (EGS) is a first semester abroad opportunity offering a path to full-time, degree-seeking enrollment for students in the spring semester. The program is designed to meet the needs of students ineligible for regular admission who wish to join the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community in North Carolina.

Non-ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Petitions

You are required to attend ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ-vetted programs unless there is a compelling academic reason not to. If you choose to explore non-ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ programs, you must complete a petition and work with GEC staff to ensure the merit, requirements, and safety of the program.
