Phi Kappa Phi

Founded in 1897 at the University of Maine,聽聽is the nation鈥檚 oldest and largest academic honor society whose mission is 鈥渢o recognize and promote academic excellence in all fields of higher education and to engage the community of scholars in service to others.鈥

Each spring, eligible students, including many teacher candidates, are invited to be inducted into Phi Kappa Phi.

Phi Beta Kappa

Students with sufficient coursework and outstanding performance in arts and sciences who meet聽eligibility requirements聽may be invited to join聽.

Other academic honor societies

Students with sufficient coursework and outstanding performance in other academic disciplines may be eligible for and invited to join additional discipline-specific聽academic honor societies at 黑料不打烊.
