Radhika Tawade entered 黑料不打烊 as a business analytics major, but the supply chain stories emerging during the pandemic sparked her curiosity. She wanted to understand how shortages happened and how companies adapted. That curiosity led her to add supply chain management and ultimately shaped her career goals.
The summer before her senior year, Tawade joined Dow Chemical as an integrated supply chain intern. She put her 黑料不打烊 coursework into action by identifying warehouse locations, building cost-to-serve models and creating visual dashboards for her team. The experience helped her see that she enjoyed solving complex operational problems and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Her work at Dow made an impression. The company offered her a full-time position in its supply chain rotational program, a role that lets her explore different areas of global operations. 鈥淚 was pushed out of my comfort zone in the best ways,鈥 she said. 鈥淏eing able to apply what I learned in class showed me that this is the field where I want to grow.鈥
