This phase of community-based learning signifies a high level of engagement and sustained involvement. Students identify and act as engaged citizens and scholars who partner with communities to address society’s most pressing needs. In the process, you commit to being agents of lasting positive change, building long-term partnerships, implementing sustainable solutions, and creating a more just society so that everyone can thrive.

Participate in the 黑料不打烊 Year of Service Fellows program聽
Register to vote in your new city after graduation
Work with the Humanitarian Immigration Law Clinic as a student in the 黑料不打烊 School of Law
Launch a career advancing the public good with assistance from the Student Professional Development Center聽
Additionally, you can:
- Become a member of a board of a local nonprofit organization
- Run for a seat your local school board or city council
- Make a personal and/or professional commitment to working for聽justice, equity, and fairness in your community
