Renting a MicroFridge

MicroFridge – Through ���ϲ�����’s partnership with Standards For Living, ���ϲ����� students may rent or purchase a microwave-refrigerator-freezer all-in-one combination appliance unit, and have it waiting in your room before you move onto campus. These uniquely designed units are the only microwaves allowed in the residence halls (except in kitchenette space in the Danieley Center). Please be sure to check with your roommate to avoid double orders!

If students have any issues with their rental unit throughout the year, they may contact Standards For Living, 800-525-7307 or .  Repairs for normal issues are included in the rental price.

 

Delivery Dates: 

• Fall Orders
  • All orders processed on or before the posted order deadline will be delivered to your room prior to the new student move-in date; there are no early deliveries before the posted delivery dates.
  • Orders received after the deadline will be delivered after classes begin.
• Orders are taken throughout the year and will be delivered on an individually coordinated basis.
• Winter/Spring Orders

Pick-Up Dates:

• The pick-up schedules for year-long or semester rentals can be seen here.
• Late Stay Approvals: If you have been approved by ���ϲ����� for a “late stay”, you will still need to have your MicroFridge unit empty, clean, and ready for pick-up by the first day of pick-up. Unless otherwise stated, by accepting a “late stay” approval from ���ϲ�����, you are giving Standards for Living staff permission to knock and key-in, when necessary, to your assigned room to execute pick-up of your rental MicroFridge unit. If the unit is not empty, on the pick-up date, Standards for Living staff will remove items, leave them in the room, and you will be charged the applicable trash/cleaning fees.

Details:

• Refunds will not be issued for cancelled orders two weeks after classes begin.  No refunds will be issued for study abroad participants or withdrawals.  ���ϲ�����’s Residence Life does not mediate any conflict that may arise between roommates in regards to this unit. Students who change rooms during the rental period are responsible for moving their own units from one room to the next and contacting Standards for Living to update them on the new location of the unit.
• \Students in apartments have kitchen access and do not typically rent MicroFridge units.
