New international students arrive to campus a few days early for International Student Orientation, a time to build community while learning about life in the United States and at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ.

Close to 1,700 members of the Class of 2025 and new transfer students gathered with their families and friends Under the Oaks on Saturday to participate in this university tradition.

The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community welcomed the 1,600 students from the Class of 2025 and nearly 80 transfer students with open arms as these newest ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students moved into their new homes.

A section of East Haggard Avenue that runs through campus will be closed for move-in traffic only from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 20. Read this note for a link to the Move-In Day map.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s newest students will arrive for Move-In Day on Friday, Aug. 20. Here’s what they have to look forward to, along with resources to help ensure a smooth transition into life and learning at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ.

Eighteen members of the Class of 2025 spent close to a week at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ during July participating in service work in the community and learning more about ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ as they prepare to begin their time at the university.

More than 60 new students began their ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ journeys on Sunday, as New Student Programs welcomed them to campus during Spring New Student Convocation and New Student Orientation.

The annual program for first-year students was adapted this year so that the Class of 2024 could participate in small groups to learn about the four virtues central to the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Honor Code.

More than 1,600 new ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students celebrated the formal start of their academic careers at the university at the ceremony, with small groups of students gathering to watch the live-streamed event.
