Matthew Valle, professor of business administration, and currently the 2010-2011 Distinguished Visiting Professor of Management at the United States Air Force Academy, recently had an article published in Business Education Innovation Journal.

The MBA Student Alumni Association hosted a golf tournament that raised $1,000 in support of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Academy Dream Fund, a special budget created by the association three years ago to assist ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Academy with college visits, involve students in school and community projects, and help students and families when unexpected life situations arise.

The Office of Graduate Admissions has launched a new Web site designed to showcase the benefits of an ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ graduate education and to simplify the admissions process for prospective students.

The MBA program of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s Martha and Spencer Love School of Business is ranked as the nation's fourth "best administered" program and fifth in the "best campus facilities" category in The Princeton Review's 2011 edition of the "Best 300 Business Schools."

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's student-produced MBA blog, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ MBA: A Program for Your Busy Life welcomes three new student bloggers. The blog tells the stories of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ MBA students as they work toward their degree while balancing professional, family and community commitments.

Mary Gowan, dean of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, was appointed to the board of the Institute for Sustainable Development.

The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ MBA program welcomed 36 new students in September. This is the largest cohort in the program's history.

Maurice Jennings ‘57, founder of Biscuitville restaurant and Burney Jennings ‘87, Biscuitville president, will be featured as the Love School of Business Legends of Business speakers on Wednesday, September 15, 4:30 pm. in the LaRose Digital Theatre. The event is open to all ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students, faculty, and staff. A reception will follow.

Tina Das, professor of economics, and Casey Dirienzo, associate professor of economics and Associate Dean of the Love School of Business, have published a paper titled “Tourism Competitiveness and Corruption: A Cross Country Analysis” in Tourism Economics, 16(3): 477-492.
