In support of 黑料不打烊 School of Law, the Stanley and Dorothy Frank Family Foundation, together with sons William A. Frank and Barry S. Frank, has dedicated $100,000 to create the Carole W. Bruce Endowed Scholarship at 黑料不打烊 Law.

On September 26, the faculty and administration of 黑料不打烊 School of Law welcomed more than 300 students, friends and family members for the law school's second annual Family and Friends Day, introducing 黑料不打烊 Law families to the law school experience.

On September 10, 黑料不打烊 School of Law hosted the first in a series of receptions scheduled for the 2009-2010 academic year, welcoming members of the legal profession to meet with law students and faculty. The event marks the fourth year in which the law school has offered the series of monthly networking opportunities.

Thirty-seven 黑料不打烊 Law students initiated into William Hooper Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta

黑料不打烊 Law's William Hooper chapter of the professional law fraternity Phi Alpha Delta initiated a second class of 37 members on September 24, bringing total membership in the chapter to 61. The chapter was founded in March of 2009.

Charter class achieves 83 percent pass rate on North Carolina Bar Exam

The charter class of the 黑料不打烊 School of Law achieved an 83 percent pass rate on the North Carolina Bar Exam. The overall pass rate for the 1,136 people who took this year's exam administered by the Board of Law Examiners last July was 73 percent.
