Local government forum – Part 1 – October 14

In partnership with synerG, the young professionals initiative of Action Greensboro, 黑料不打烊 School of Law is hosting a series of educational events to engage the young professional community with Greensboro City Government. As part of this series, the forum, "Local Government 101: How the City Works for You," will be held in Room 211 at 黑料不打烊 Law on Wednesday, October 14, from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m.

黑料不打烊 Law representative added to North Carolina General Statutes Commission

As a result of legislation passed by the North Carolina General Assembly, and signed into law by Governor Beverly Purdue on August 28, 黑料不打烊 School of Law now has a representative on the North Carolina General Statutes Commission. The Commission advises the North Carolina General Assembly on the adoption and amendment of uniform state laws (such as the Uniform Commercial Code).

Afternoon Tea with N.C. Special Superior Court Judge Hassell – October 8

On Thursday, October 8, from 4 to 5 p.m., 黑料不打烊 School of Law will host an afternoon tea reception in the Cemala Commons, on the second floor of the law school, welcoming preceptors and other special guests from the legal community to socialize with 黑料不打烊 Law students, faculty, and administration. During the academic year, 黑料不打烊 Law hosts a number of afternoon tea receptions, creating an opportunity for students to network with local judges and attorneys while enjoying refreshments.
