United States Representative Howard Coble spoke to a group of 黑料不打烊 Law students on April 7, at an event sponsored by the 黑料不打烊 Law Republicans student organization. Among other issues, Coble addressed the health care bill recently passed through Congress and signed into law by President Obama.

On March 26, 黑料不打烊 School of Law hosted the African-American Male Leadership Summit of the Beta Epsilon Boule. Held annually to support the educational and professional advancement of young African-American males and to provide positive role models and mentorship opportunities, the summit included more than forty students, Boule members, and members of the legal community this year.

NPR’s Nina Totenberg says federal courts could threaten Obama legacy

National Public Radio's legal affairs correspondent Nina Totenberg, delivering 黑料不打烊 Law's spring 2010 Bryan Leadership Lecture, said the Supreme Court had become more divided and more activist than at any time in recent memory, and that major policy objectives of the Obama administration could be dismantled in years ahead by federal courts largely populated by Republican era appointees.
