David Levine announces July-August schedule for Hearsay Culture radio show

黑料不打烊 Law professor David Levine will feature several nationally acclaimed scholars on his radio show and podcast Hearsay Culture this summer, including University of Wisconsin Law School professor Shubha Ghosh, Laura DeNardis, Executive Director of the Information Society Project at Yale Law School, and law professors Eduardo Penalver of Cornell Law and Sonia Katyal of Fordham Law discussing their recent book, Property Outlaws.

黑料不打烊 School of Law announced the appointment of four new faculty members on August 18. Robert Parrish and Michael L. Rich will serve as assistant professors of law, specializing in legal writing and criminal law respectively. Patricia Perkins will serve as an assistant professor of legal writing and Angela Gilmore, whose scholarship interests include trusts and estates, nonprofit organizations, real estate law, and lesbian and gay rights, will serve as a visiting professor of law.

KARAMAH is a human rights organization of Muslim women lawyers dedicated to promoting dignity for all human beings through education and legal outreach.

John Alexander participates in Building Better Lawyers Workshop at Stanford University

In a project sponsored by The Southern California Innovation Project of the University of Southern California School of Law and hosted by the Center for the Advanced Study of Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University, participants, including 黑料不打烊 Law's John Alexander, worked to develop concrete goals, metrics and methods to transform legal education in ways that better prepare law students for the business and ethical dimensions of law practice.
