With projects rooted in storytelling, sustainability and community, two communication design majors earned honors in the 2025 Graphis New Talent Annual, showcasing their creativity on a global stage.

Ten faculty members presented research, moderated panels, and contributed to important conversations, while a quartet of students discussed their award-winning work.

A team of ���ϲ����� students oversaw the Broadcast Education Association’s Best of Festival Awards Ceremony, managing all aspects of the live event’s production. The experience gave students a high-profile opportunity to apply their skills, collaborate as a team, and gain real-world industry exposure.

The sport management and strategic communications double major earned the top prize in the Creative AI + Data Image Contest at ���ϲ�����’s Datafest 2025 with her entry, “Where Acorns Become Oaks.”

Beginning in fall 2025, the new undergraduate program will help equip students with the creative, strategic and technical skills to lead content creation and strategy across digital platforms.
