Lavender Celebration, ¡Celebremos! and Donning of the Kente united 2025 graduates from the School of Law and School of Health Sciences to honor the influence of relationships, culture and authenticity in their academic and professional achievements.

Mike McCormack G’25, Devron Felder G’25 and Samir Halalou G’25 call themselves the ‘Room Dogs,’ after an impromptu nickname created a laugh for the three. But now, as the Physician Assistant Studies students prepare to graduate, their bond has become more than a nickname.

As Raya Coley G’25 prepares to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy on Dec. 12, she is reflecting on the relationships and skills learned, but also the goal she set for herself in the field, both to help others and be a model for other Black women in the field.

After years of teaching in the classroom, Sarah Jenkins ’25 is hanging it up and putting on the scrubs as she earns a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree through ���ϲ�����’s accelerated program.

���ϲ����� has made available online customized announcements for graduating seniors and their parents to submit to hometown media outlets.

���ϲ����� is featuring a variety of photos every month to highlight the exceptional learning, work and activities of students, faculty and staff.

Celebrations such as the First-Generation Stole Ceremony, Celebremos!: Graduates Take Flight, Donning of the Kente, and Lavender Graduation highlighted the achievements of students who embraced, and were embraced by, communities of support throughout their college experience.

What do you do with the gift of an oak sapling when you can’t bring it back to your home nation after graduation? You plant it in a campus grove that celebrates your achievement.
