ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ has been recognized for the third year in a row as a national leader in service-learning and civic engagement. The Corporation for National & Community Service named the university this week to the 2008 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll With Distinction for exemplary service efforts to America's communities.

Students, faculty and staff packed McKinnon Hall on Tuesday to watch the Inauguration of President Barack Obama in a program sponsored by the Multicultural Center, the Council on Civic Engagement, the Office of Civic Engagement and ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ members of Phi Beta Kappa.

A panel of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ faculty and students will discuss the Obama presidency Jan. 16 in a McKinnon Hall event sponsored by the Multicultural Center, Phi Beta Kappa, the Council on Civic Engagement and the Office of Civic Engagement.
