More than 2,400 alumni, parents and friends made gifts during the “Masks On. Rise Up!” initiative in August to support ���ϲ����� students and programs, despite challenging times worldwide.

Hall, who served as a member of the ���ϲ����� Board of Trustees for 35 years, passed away Aug. 30, 2020, at the age of 86.

The alumnus has been serving the school system in North Carolina as associate superintendent for administrative services since 2016.

What began as a simple way to stay in business for the Subway restaurant owner has turned into a larger movement bringing his community together and helping in more ways than one.

What has traditionally been a weekend of festivities has now been extended to a multi-day extravaganza of memorable celebrations taking place Oct. 12-18.
