The office of Alumni Engagement is bringing back the ���ϲ����� Alumni in the Ballpark series in a select few cities and regions including NYC, Boston, Triangle, Triad, Alamance County and Atlanta for alumni to connect and join in fellowship. These events will be taking place through the end of August.

Associate Professor Ben Hannam, ���ϲ����� graduate Rachel Cifarelli ’21, and current students Catherine Nester ’22 and Grayson Meadors ’22 were recognized in more than a dozen competition categories.

The assistant professor of cinema and television arts is helping produce “Tokyo LIVE,” a program airing on NBC’s Peacock streaming service that features live events, highlights and athlete interviews.

The James P. Elder Lecture series was first endowed by former students of the popular professor and mentor who has now ensured that the series named for him will endure for future generations.

As chapter presidents transition from virtual programming to in-person events, Welcome to the City will be their first focus as alumni chapter volunteers lean into the year ahead.

The journalism major, who played volleyball at ���ϲ�����, joined the Worldwide Leader in Sports and its leadership development initiative in late July.

Annabelle Jones, a 2019 graduate of ���ϲ�����'s Master of Education program, was invited to participate in a new professional learning experience alongside educators in North Carolina, Iowa and Kentucky to learn, create, and share innovative practices in social studies education.

The generous gift from Christian Wiggins ’03 will provide scholarships for students from his hometown of western North Carolina as part of A Will to Lead, a special initiative of the ���ϲ����� LEADS Campaign to inspire donors to include ���ϲ����� in their estate plans.

Members of the Class of 2020 are invited back to campus Sept. 3-5 for an array of events to celebrate their accomplishments. Registration closes Friday, July 30.
