A news story in the Times-News of Burlington, N.C., reports that former ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ baseball player Chase Austin could start his first full year in professional baseball with the Greensboro Grasshoppers.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ junior Taylor Trensch and alumnus Matt Shingledecker '08 have spent much of the past year headlining the national tour of the Broadway musical, "Spring Awakening." This weekend, the Trensch and Shingledecker will enjoy a homecoming of sorts, as the critically acclaimed tour makes a stop at the Durham Performing Arts Center this weekend.

Pamela M. Kiser, Watts-Thompson Professor in the Department of Human Service Studies and interim dean of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ College, the College of Arts and Sciences, has been named ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s fourth Distinguished University Professor.

Margaret Dalton '09, who graduated with a bachelor's in music performance, was featured in a story in the March 4 edition of The Times-News of Burlington, N.C., about her performance in Capstone Theatrical's national touring production of "The Taffetas: A Musical Journey Through the Fabulous Fifties."
