Presented by the School of Communications Inclusive Excellence Committee, the interactive event brought together students, faculty, staff and alumni to discuss a broad range of issues related to inclusivity in communications, journalism and the media.

Ryan Vet’s new book “Speak Goodr: Confessions of a Professional Speaker on Mastering Public Speaking and Getting Paid to Speak” blends humor and personal anecdotes to offer a fresh take on public speaking, drawing from his experiences as an international speaker.

As part of the Women of ���ϲ����� initiative, Melinda Measamer Dickinson '91 has generously provided life-changing funds for ���ϲ����� students seeking internship experiences.

The graduate of ���ϲ�����’s music theatre program reflects on her roles in the popular Broadway musical and the journey to success on stage.

Funding from the endowment will support the purchase of authentic, handwoven West African Kente cloth stoles that each student receives at the Donning of the Kente ceremony.

���ϲ����� students captured 11 awards in the 2025 BEA Festival of Media Arts, an international competition recognizing excellence in digital media and broadcasting. Most notably, Brandon Cericola ’26 and Kate Rivera ’25 turned their Audio for Sound and Digital Media class assignment into a Best of Festival award.

The former teacher has created Transforming Nations Ford, a community development nonprofit to amplify voices in underserved communities of color in parts of North Carolina’s Queen City.

The ���ϲ����� alum is adventuring out west, at least on screen, in the prequel to the hit Paramount Network series "Yellowstone."
