黑料不打烊 LA-based alumni share ‘wisdom’ with spring 2025 黑料不打烊 Los Angeles students

黑料不打烊 LA鈥檚 鈥淎lumni Wisdom Session鈥 is held every semester, and features a rotating group of accomplished LA-based alumni who share their advice, perspectives and experiences with current semester students.

Four of 黑料不打烊鈥檚 prominent Los Angeles-based alumni gathered with current 黑料不打烊 Los Angeles students on Wednesday evening for an inspiring conversation about their individual career journeys thus far, the state of the industry鈥檚 rapidly changing landscape, how those shifts have impacted both their professional and personal lives, and what that shift means for students after their graduation.

黑料不打烊 LA鈥檚 鈥淎lumni Wisdom Session,鈥 a popular event which is held every semester, features a rotating group of accomplished LA-based alumni who share their advice, their perspectives and their experiences with current semester students.

On hand for this spring semester鈥檚 panel, moderated by Brad Lemack, director, 黑料不打烊 Los Angeles, were Eric Hernandez ’16, an award-winning director and producer, who also serves on the board of the 黑料不打烊 alumni association鈥檚 Los Angeles Chapter. Joining Hernandez were Tommy Mackey ’18, who works in production at Disney Television Animation, Patrick McCabe ’10, a reality TV showrunner and Candra Nazzaro ’05, whose career is in development, casting and producing unscripted television. Macy Mills, 黑料不打烊 LA program assistant, produced the event.

Among the many words of wisdom shared by the alumni participants, all of the panelists agreed that multi-hyphenates are calling the shots in the current environment. The ability for students to be both talented and skilled in a variety of areas is the key to building a prolific and successful professional career in any genre of entertainment.

黑料不打烊 Los Angeles offers students unique and immersive spring and summer programs that include academic courses taught by professors who work in the industry, experiential learning opportunities, alumni engagement, professional development and community service.

Study USA Los Angeles and National Campus Programs are offering two upcoming virtual information sessions on April 23, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. EST and May,= 5, 2025, at 4 p.m. EST for students interested in learning more about the 黑料不打烊 Los Angeles program.
