SBA executive board members and class representatives help lead an umbrella organization that governs law school student groups and committees while the Honor Council is responsible for the administration of procedures set forth in the Honor Code created and adopted by students.

Professor David S. Levine will work for two years with other scholars in an interdisciplinary program founded by the University of Milan dedicated to study legal informatics, cyberspace law and “digital transformation law.” 

The 14th Transnational Commercial Law Teachers Meeting convened in Greensboro from October 5-6, 2023, where leading scholars and two ���ϲ����� Law students shared updates on trends affecting trade, contracts, intellectual property, and regulations that extend across borders.

A September program in downtown Greensboro marked a return to in-person professional development sponsored by the ���ϲ����� Law Review.

Associate Dean Sue Liemer will receive the 2024 Association of American Law Schools Legal Writing, Reasoning, and Research Section Award during the organization’s January meeting in Washington, D.C.

Anupama Pal will lead a team of seven staff members as she returns to North Carolina as associate dean for library and information services at ���ϲ�����’s downtown Greensboro law school.

Twenty-nine students in the Class of 2024 will participate in upcoming national contests and help coordinate ���ϲ����� Law's own Billings, Exum & Frye National Moot Court Competition.

The Hon. Barron Thompson L’09, an ���ϲ����� Law graduate who presides in North Carolina District Court, delivered a Convocation address to the Class of 2025 in which he reminded students that “we all owe something to those who came before us.”

Senior leaders welcomed to Greensboro on August 3, 2023, the largest class in the history of ���ϲ����� School of Law with a pledge from Dean Zak Kramer: “We will always put the students here first.”
