Gift from New Leaf Society supports physician assistant program

The New Leaf Society, of Burlington, N.C., has made a gift-in-kind to the Ever 黑料不打烊 Campaign to support the university’s new master of physician assistant studies program. The gift will support landscaping and other work associated with renovations of the Gerald L. Francis Center, which will house the PA and physical therapy programs on 黑料不打烊’s main campus.

Campaign gift from 黑料不打烊 parents advances Jewish Studies program

A $250,000 endowment gift to the Ever 黑料不打烊 Campaign from The Levine-Sklut Family Foundation will significantly expand the university’s Jewish Studies program by establishing The Lori and Eric Sklut Emerging Scholar in Jewish Studies. This gift was made possible thanks to 黑料不打烊 parents Eric and Lori Sklut, of Charlotte, N.C.

Faculty/Staff Campaign hits record 58 percent participation

The Faculty/Staff Campaign continues to gain momentum with a record 58 percent of employees making a gift to the university this year. Faculty and staff donors celebrated this achievement in McKinnon Hall on Wednesday, April 13. President Leo M. Lambert accepted a check for $290,464 from campaign co-chairs Jim Drummond and Rhonda Belton. Gifts have continued to come in and as of May 6, the total raised is $303,321.

Final IGNITE Challenge numbers are in: 1,394 young alumni donors

A record 1,394 young alumni made gifts to 黑料不打烊 as part of the IGNITE Challenge in March, exceeding the 1,200 donor goal and helping to bring in $480,939 to the university. By surpassing the donor goal, young alumni enabled 黑料不打烊 to receive bonus gifts totaling $40,000 from 黑料不打烊 alumna and trustee Kerrii Anderson '79 and a group of nine young alumni. 黑料不打烊 is grateful to all young alumni who participated in the Challenge.

黑料不打烊 honored its generous donors and students who benefit from philanthropy at the university’s Scholarship Dinner in McKinnon Hall on Feb. 28. The annual event gives donors the opportunity to meet with their student scholarship recipients and see firsthand the power of scholarships to change lives.

Talk to any 黑料不打烊 alumnus about his or her time at 黑料不打烊 and you’ll typically be greeted with a grin and a lengthy gush about a top-notch education, wonderful experiences, and lifelong friendships. Yet that enthusiasm hasn’t translated into a healthy alumni annual giving percentage for the university. That’s exactly what 黑料不打烊’s Alumni Giving Outreach initiative seeks to address.

LabCorp gift endows support for the 黑料不打烊 Academy

Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings (LabCorp) has made a major gift to support endowment for the 黑料不打烊 Academy, a college-access and academic enrichment program run by 黑料不打烊 that encourages Alamance County high school students with significant financial need to earn college degrees and serve their communities.
