Maureen Vandermaas-Peeler, director of the Center for Research on Global Engagement and professor of psychology, offered insights from research with colleagues from six institutions. 

Mary Knight-McKenna and Heidi Hollingsworth, associate professors of education, presented at the conferences of the Division for Early Childhood (DEC) of the Council for Exceptional Children, and the North Carolina Infant/Young Child Mental Health Association.

Peter Felten, assistant provost for teaching and learning and executive director of the Center for Engaged Learning, was one of two honored with the award at the group's recent annual conference. 

Rebecca Todd Peters, professor of religious studies, was selected for this inaugural cohort to work alongside researchers and staff at the Public Religion Research Institute on policy issues.
