The website includes video excerpts, transcripts of panelist comments and the opportunity for you to add your comments and ideas on each of the convocation topics.
Professors offer lessons via Skype to high school students

Two 黑料不打烊 professors in the Department of History and Geography shared from campus on Friday their insights about the Civil War with students in a U.S. history class taught by a former North Carolina Teaching Fellow at a high school 90 miles away.
ELONTHON fundraiser tops $100,000 for children

For the second consecutive year, 黑料不打烊 students who took part in the annual springtime ELONTHON dance marathon raised more than $100,000 to benefit young patients and their families with the nonprofit Children’s Miracle Network and Duke Children’s Hospital.
Letitia Lee ’99 appears on Sunday’s ‘Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’

Letitia Lee '99, an accomplished artist and muralist, appeared in the Sunday, April 24, episode of the hit ABC reality show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." Lee designed and painted a mural for one of the bedrooms in the Virginia Beach, Va., home rebuilt during the show.

Tyronna Hooker G'09, an exceptional children’s teacher at Graham Middle School in Graham, N.C., and a 2009 graduate of 黑料不打烊's Master of Education program, has been named the 2011-12 North Carolina Teacher of the Year.

Winter 2011: Construction Zone Ahead: New facilities support goals of the 黑料不打烊 Commitment

In the new issue of the Magazine of 黑料不打烊, President Leo M. Lambert outlines plans for eight major construction projects as part of the 黑料不打烊 Commitment strategic plan. More than 1,284 new residence hall spaces will be built over the next three years as part of a transformation of the residential experience. Other projects include a new retail building, including the campus bookstore, on Williamson Avenue; the Gerald L. Francis building on Haggard Avenue for graduate programs in physical therapy and physician assistant studies; a new multi-faith center in the Academic Village; and new facilities for Phoenix athletics.
