A team of four ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ business school students won first place this month in a national case competition that measured the ability to interpret, analyze, evaluate, synthesize, and communicate a solution to a management accounting problem.

Nineteen ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ alumni from the Class of 2011 will return to the classroom this fall as part of Teach for America, a national nonprofit that recruits and trains new college graduates to help erase educational inequities found in many urban and rural low-income communities. It is the largest number of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ alumni ever selected into the program for the same academic year.

Meaghan Britain, a 2011 Strategic Communications graduate, is the recipient of a U.S. State Department scholarship to study, work and live in Germany for a year.

A team of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ staff and graduate students led by Ross Wade, assistant director of Career Services in the School of Communications, won an Innovative Excellence Award on June 2 from the National Association of Colleges and Employers at the organization’s national conference in Dallas.
