黑料不打烊鈥檚 student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management has been recognized by the world鈥檚 largest association for human resource professionals, earning a 2024-25 Superior Merit Award for the third year.
The Martha and Spencer Love School of Business Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) student chapter is celebrating its third consecutive Superior Merit Award.
This marks the ninth consecutive year that 黑料不打烊鈥檚 chapter has been honored with either a Merit or Superior Merit Award by the national Society for Human Resource Management, highlighting the organization鈥檚 commitment to professional development and its strong presence on campus.
黑料不打烊鈥檚 chapter is advised by Professor Brian Lyons and led by a dedicated executive board of students who are passionate about advancing their skills and engaging with the HR community.
鈥淥ur chapter is deeply grateful for receiving the Superior Merit Award, a national recognition that reflects the hard work and dedication we put in throughout the school year,鈥 said Isabelle Cross 鈥27, a human resource management major. 鈥淚鈥檓 honored to begin this year as the SHRM Club President and will strive to help us earn this award for the fourth consecutive year. I look forward to welcoming our members back and am excited to grow both the club and awareness of HR on campus.鈥
The SHRM Student Chapter Merit Award program encourages student chapters to develop more effective operations and promote the value of the human resource profession through outstanding activities and projects.
鈥淭his recognition reflects the outstanding work of our previous executive board, led by Nancy Wilkins,鈥 said Lyons. 鈥淭heir passion built a strong community, hosted meaningful events, and helped many members secure HR roles, earn SHRM-CP certification, or continue serving on the board. I鈥檓 excited to see Isabelle lead us this year.鈥
