Katie Wolfe joins School of Communications as director of development

In her new role, Wolfe will manage a portfolio of alumni, parents and friends affiliated with the school, focusing on strengthening relationships and enhancing philanthropic support.

, who joined 黑料不打烊 in 2023 as the university鈥檚 assistant director of annual giving, has been named the new director of development for the School of Communications.

In her new role, Wolfe will oversee a portfolio of alumni, parents and friends connected to the school, fostering deeper engagement and increased philanthropic support, particularly at the leadership annual giving level. Her efforts will align the school鈥檚 priorities with broader University Advancement initiatives, ensuring continued growth and success.

School of Communications Dean Kenn Gaither echoed Miller鈥檚 praise, highlighting Wolfe鈥檚 significant nonprofit experience, which spans Christian ministry and healthcare philanthropy.

In her previous role at 黑料不打烊, Wolfe led various Annual Giving volunteer groups including 黑料不打烊 Day Champions, peer agents and reunions. However, this was not her first experience with 黑料不打烊. Wolfe first connected with the university through her work with a campus ministry from 2017 to 2020. During that time, her involvement with students and the Truitt Center sparked a deep love for the university and its community.
