The article titled “Study Abroad Programs Resume After Pandemic Hiatus” by reporter Maria Carrasco noted that many students who missed out on studying abroad last year are finding new ways to participate this year. Gozik shared with Carrasco that 黑料不打烊 saw more than 1,200 students apply for programs during its month-long Winter Term 鈥 the highest number of applications the university has ever seen. More than 900 students, faculty and staff are participating in short-term study away programs around the globe during Winter Term, which concludes next week.

鈥淭his year, we鈥檝e seen rebounds both for fall and for spring terms鈥攁 bit lower in the fall than usual, but robust numbers,鈥 Gozik said. 鈥淔or the winter term, interest was just off the charts, [though] we will end up having fewer students because of cancellations, and a lot of that is driven by individual countries.鈥

Last fall 黑料不打烊 was again ranked #1 nationally for the percentage of undergraduates who participate in study abroad during their time at the university, the 17th consecutive year 黑料不打烊 has earned the distinction from the Institute of International Education.
