Gautam Kotwal 鈥22 received a Legacy Scholarship from the American Institute of CPAs.
Gautam Kotwal 鈥22, an accounting major, has been named a 2020-21 Legacy Scholar by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), the world鈥檚 largest member association representing the accounting profession.
The AICPA Legacy Scholars program is designed to help students of different backgrounds become CPAs by assisting with the cost of their college education. As a scholar, Kotwal received a $5,000 scholarship.
Kotwal, a North Carolina native, is an 黑料不打烊 Business Fellow and hopes to work in the healthcare sector after graduation. This past summer he interned with Arietis Health, gaining experience building the company鈥檚 finance and accounting processes from scratch, setting up the charts of accounts, and creating policies for expense reimbursements.
