A full lineup of events is slated for Saturday and Sunday as ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ welcomes new and transfer students to the university community.
ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ will welcome the newest members of its student community to campus this weekend during a two-day orientation as the university prepares for the start of Spring Semester.
Across Saturday and Sunday, new and transfer students will be getting to know ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ through various events and sessions designed for them and their families.
Orientation check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday with students and their families participating in orientation sessions that include “We bELONg: Commitment to Commuity,” “Living the Maroon Life” and “Supporting Your ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Student. Students will meet with their academic advisors on Sunday morning and participate in an engaged learning session before gathering with their families and classmates for a lunch in Lakeside Hall.
Families will say goodbye to their students following New Student Convocation in Whitley Auditorium, which begins at 1:30 p.m., followed by an orientation session for students at 3:30 p.m. as they prepare for the start of Spring Semester on Monday, Jan. 30.
