School of Communications launches expansion blog

The website offers regular updates highlighting the construction and progress of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s communications expansion, which includes the addition of a 45,000-square-foot facility connected to McEwen Communications Building. 

The School of Communications’ construction blog will offer regular updates – heavy on photographs – about ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s communications expansion.
​One of the nation’s finest communications schools deserves one of the nation’s finest facilities. As a result, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ broke ground in May 2015 on two new buildings that will merge with two existing facilities to create a Communications Commons in the heart of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s campus.

To highlight the expansion project, the School of Communications recently launched a construction blog, . The site will offer regular updates – heavy on photographs – on the Communications Commons’ construction, expected to be completed by fall 2016.

Recent posts have featured a from President Leo M. Lambert, Communications Dean Paul Parsons’ , and an of the new brick sidewalks leading to McEwen. In addition to posts, the blog includes an expansion overview and links to related news articles.

​The communications expansion will nearly doubling the total amount of space supporting the school’s programs. It will also bring together all of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s communications and student media programs into a single location.
